things i never heard my kids say in Canada

- "It's okay, Mom. We can just take a taxi" (Leila after waiting at the bus stop for a while)

- "Mommy, I made you a dumpling!" (Leila playing with her play food)

- "Wow, his English is REALLY good!" (Annika in reference to a BRITISH, CAUCASIAN waiter who led us to our seat)

- "please can we go to 7/11 and get a Puccho? (both girls... 7/11 trips not new, Puccho- new favorite candy)

- "ooh, that's a nice Buddha!"

- "please can you buy me some seaweed to take in my lunch?"

- "NO, I WANT TO PUSH THE BUTTON!!!" (we didn't have fighting in elevators in Canada)

- "Is it a Typhoon Day today?"
